No real data density.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So you end up adding a second system \u2014 usually a sticker \u2014 which drops you straight back into failure again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anodised aluminium<\/strong> Then UV hits it. Then handling scratches it. Anodising was never designed for industrial tagging \u2014 it\u2019s an architectural finish that got repurposed because it was cheap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Engraved and paint-filled<\/strong> The issue? The paint fails first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s left is a shallow groove no one can read at arm\u2019s length \u2014 and definitely can\u2019t scan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019ve still got the metal, but you\u2019ve lost the legibility.
